Wicked Campers are delighted to announce they are the latest partner to sign up to the London Visitor Charter, a commitment to keep prices and practices fair over this summer. 

In the lead up to the London 2012 Games, London & Partners, the official promotional organisation for London has implemented an initiative aimed at reassuring visitors to London that they are getting quality products and services for a reasonable price.

The Charter ensures that signatories commit to maintaining a fair price for their products and services while conducting business in an ethical, environmental and sustainable way during the 2012 Olympic Games. 

Over 30 companies have signed up to the Charter including big names like the O2 Arena, Eurostar, Addison Lee and now Wicked Campers campervans.  

Managing director of Wicked Campers, Denis Geary said “It’s important to make a good impression to visitors to London in 2012.  Some of them will be first time visitors to the capital so we need to ensure that we provide them with quality and value for money to ensure a repeat visit.”  

Wicked Campers campervans, in two or five berth designs, are family friendly, comfortable and reliable.  Complete with double bed, kitchen sink and cooking equipment, they are a cheaper way to see London and the UK in 2012. 

Wicked Campers signing up to the London Visitor Charter came as a result of their existing partnership with London & Partners for Camp In London, their 5,000 person per night campsite for the Olympics.  Geary recognised London & Partners consumer facing website visitLondon.com as a key component in marketing the campsite and was interested to see what other initiatives were being implemented in 2012.
